Achieve Miami

Miami Country Day students participated in a food drive!
Our Upper School students normally come together to read, write, learn, and play with elementary school students from under-resourced communities. They do this at the Jesse J. McCrary Jr. Elementary. During these Saturdays, the little buddies are also fed breakfast at the school. Given the current circumstances, these young students have had less access to nutritious meals, so the Achieve Miami organization put together a series of Food Distribution events to help alleviate that problem.

Our students raised funds ($500), dry food items, and some actively participated in the event. Throughout the year they plan to organize other events that will benefit students and their families.
