MCDS Senior gives back to the community!

Josh Finvarb '21 has been recognized for giving back to the community by starting up two non-profit organizations.
Josh recently received a “Rising Star” Award for supporting the Camillus House in Miami, which provides shelter to the homeless where they can be in a safe place to have a shower, clean clothes, and more.   Knowing that the very items needed for a shower are usually left behind at hotels, Josh’s powerful idea: Shower4Power was launched.  Shower4Power recycles lightly used bottles of shampoos, conditioners and body washes from hotels and donates them to Camillus House.  During the pandemic, Josh also donates other items clients enjoy, like activity books.  His extraordinary work doesn’t stop here. Josh also founded the Save the Brave Foundation that secures donations of COVID Personal Protective equipment needed by the military and first responders. He personally delivers the PPE items.
