Health Room
The Miami Country Day School’s fully equipped Health Room provides acute care for students and faculty and is the frontline response for on campus emergencies, illness and accidents.
The health room, led by our Head Registered Nurse, Bianca Ricart, a member of the National Association of School Nurses (NASN) and assisted by Claudner Pierre, an EMT/Pararmedic ensures the safety and well-being of all on campus.
While all faculty and staff are CPR/AED certified, the Health Room is the epicenter of all healthcare on campus. Services include, general first aid, illness triage and monitoring services.
The Heath Room facilitates all daytime medication administration. The Health Room also coordinates with families to ensure that students who are seen on campus receive the proper follow-up care.
